remember our own mortality, grounding ourselves in the truth that we are
creatures, not God, and that only by acknowledging our limitations can we hope
to grow beyond them.

HOLY WEEK: MARCH 28-APRIL 4 PALM SUNDAY marks
the beginning of Holy Week. It is the day we re-enact Christ’s triumphal entry
into Jerusalem,
less than a week before his death, by processing with palms and meditating on
the Passion at 8 and 10:30 a.m.
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY we continue to deepen our spiritual focus with
daily Eucharist at 7 p.m.
MAUNDY THURSDAY we remember the institution of the Lord’s Supper
with a parish meal and service of foot-washing, followed by the stripping of
the altar, when we remember the arrest of Christ and the stripping of his
dignity at the hands of the Roman soldiers. Soup supper at 6 p.m.; Holy
Eucharist at 7 p.m.
GOOD FRIDAY is the day we remember the death of Christ for our salvation.
Worship at 12 noon and 7 p.m.
HOLY SATURDAY A brief office helps us to come to terms with the reality of
Christ’s death and burial. 10 a.m.
GREAT VIGIL OF EASTER walks us through salvation
history from the time of creation to the resurrection of Christ. The most
sacred service of the Christian year, and originally the only time Christian
converts could receive baptism. Saturday, April 3 at 8 p.m.
EASTER MORNING: FESTIVAL HOLY EUCHARIST celebrates the resurrection of Christ and our hope of
eternal life. 8 and 10:30 a.m.
