SUNDAY, JANUARY 4: EVENSONG AND VESPERS RECITAL SERIES resume at 6 p.m.
with a recital by organist Riyehee Hong, Director of Music and the Arts at Philadelphia Cathedral  

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7: WOMENSPIRIT RESUMES.
 

SUNDAY, JANUARY 11: YOUTH CHOIR, CHURCH SCHOOL, AND RITE 13 CLASSES RESUME.
 

SUNDAY, JANUARY 18: THIRD SUNDAY FORUMS CONTINUE AT 11:30 A.M. Dr. Virginia Wiles
, Professor of New Testament at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, will lead a class on Jesus and the Good Life, examining such questions as: What does Jesus teach us about holy living? What does Jesus look for in his followers? What virtues are supposed to distinguish us as disciples?  

MONDAY, JANUARY 19: COME PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY ON THE EVE OF THE INAUGURATION, AT 7 P.M.
 

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1: THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
will be at 11:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. This meeting is very important; it is vital that all members try to attend.  

2009 PLEDGE UPDATE:
As of December 11 we now have 111 pledges totaling $204,133. The Stewardship Committee would like to thank all who have pledged, and would like to remind those who have not that it is never too late to pledge. Pledge cards are available in the back of the church.  

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR JANUARY EDITION OF CLOSE CALL.
It contains a lot of very important information.  

DINE TO DONATE COUPONS. Dine at Perkins Restaurant and 10 percent of your bill will be donated to Christ Church. Coupons are located on the table at the back of Church; please take some for yourself, family, and friends.

WE ARE COLLECTING CELL PHONES AND PRINTER CARTIDGES at the back of the church to benefit Christ Church youth.
